NPCC Criteria, designated as Type "A" documents and identified as NPCC Document A-nn, describe the minimum criteria applicable to the NPCC membership functioning as part of the coordinated interconnected network. As the most stringent document, the establishment of criteria, or the revision of existing criteria, requires the approval of two thirds of the NPCC membership.

NPCC is currently translating Member approved Criteria documents into corresponding Directories as part of the NPCC Directory project; accordingly, if a former Criteria document no longer appears on the list below it has already been converted into a Directory and subsequently retired.
