The NPCC Open Process is a mechanism through which comments and proposed revisions from all entities within the industry will be considered in the review of any given document. The NPCC website will be utilized to ensure that, through the technology offered by the Internet, the broad industry audience can be reached, and the review of critical documents can be carried out in the expeditious manner required by today's industry. All current NPCC documents in force can be viewed, and those whose reviews are in progress can be viewed in draft form and commented upon here.

The NPCC Open Process also supports interregional review of Regional Standards and Directory documents from adjoining Regions that have open and inclusive processes for developing and reviewing their Criteria documents. All adjoining Regional Criteria documents currently under review which are available will be posted and distributed to the Task Forces, notifying them that the review is being conducted. Any comments made through the NPCC web site on an adjoining Region's criteria will be submitted to that Region.

All NPCC Regional Standards and Directory documents that are undergoing development or open process review will be distributed to adjoining Regions, actively soliciting comments. All comments received from other Regions will be forwarded to the appropriate Task Forces. All comments are available from this page.

All comments to NPCC documents must be submitted using an add link in the Comment column before the end of that document's comment period. Comments may be submitted in text or uploaded. Uploaded files may be Word, PDF, Excel or Text (.txt) format.
