Compliance - Feedback Process

The NPCC Regional Feedback Mechanism process facilitates the evaluation of potential Reliability Standard improvement Issues identified by a Registered Entity, NPCC Member, or NPCC.

The feedback process permits Registered Entities, NPCC Members, and NPCC to identify, during the normal course of conducting CMEP and Events Analysis activities, areas or issues where the NERC Reliability Standards may be improved.  Once such an issue is identified, an evaluation is performed to further identify the scope, type, and importance of the Issue.  After the evaluation, a report is developed that defines the issue and recommends whether and how to pursue changes to the relevant NERC Reliability Standard through the existing NERC Reliability Standard processes.
