Compliance - New Brunswick

Effective October 2013, NPCC entered into an agreement with the New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board (EUB) to be the designated compliance body within New Brunswick. This agreement was the result of the 2013 New Brunswick Electricity Act which granted the EUB the responsibility for adopting, monitoring, and enforcing reliability standards in New Brunswick.   The 2013 New Brunswick Electricity Act also resulted in the development of implementing regulations which include a New Brunswick Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement Program (NBCMEP).

NPCC is implementing the NBCMEP as outlined in the 2015 New Brunswick CMEP Implementation Plan that was developed in coordination with the EUB.  NPCC has developed New Brunswick specific procedures to support the NBCMEP.
