Northeast Power Coordinating Council, Inc. (NPCC) is committed to fostering and maintaining a workplace where its directors, officers, employees and volunteers will observe the highest personal and corporate standards of business conduct and ethics, and will be protected from unlawful retaliation for properly disclosing or reporting, in good faith, any action or suspected action that potentially is illegal, fraudulent or in violation of any adopted policy of NPCC.
NPCC directors, officers, employees and volunteers may report, on a confidential and anonymous basis if such individual so desires, any good faith concern or complaint in writing regarding (1) any action or suspected action involving NPCC that is potentially illegal or fraudulent, and (2) any action or suspected action that may potentially result in a violation of any NPCC policy. This may include concerns regarding any financial statement or other disclosure, accounting, internal accounting or disclosure controls, or auditing matters or violations of the NPCC Code of Conduct Policy.
Reports may be made anonymously. However, providing your name allows NPCC to contact you if necessary during any investigation. Confidentiality of the reporting party’s identity will be maintained by each member of the Whistleblower Team and the Board, to the fullest extent possible, consistent with the need to permit necessary investigation and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
