Resource Adequacy

The NPCC Areas (New England, New York, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia) assess their Resource Adequacy per NPCC’s Directory 1 (Design and Operation of the Bulk Power System). Resource Adequacy includes changes to facilities and system conditions, availability of generation resources, demand forecast and the impact of these changes on the overall reliability of that Area’s Bulk Power System.
