Regional Standards Committee

The NPCC Regional Standards Committee (RSC) is charged with management and maintenance of the NPCC Regional Standard Processes Manual under a sector based voting structure as described in the NPCC Bylaws. The RSC also is charged with the management and maintenance of the NPCC Directory Development and Revision Manual and provides oversight of the development of the NPCC Criteria contained therein. The RSC also conducts detailed review of all new and revised NERC Reliability Standards as well as activities related to Distributed Energy Resources (DER) as directed by the NPCC Board of Directors. Additionally an evaluation of the cost effectiveness of the standards and criteria is conducted during any revisions to the documents.
