Announcement Letter for PRC-006-NPCC-02 Ballot Result

In accordance with the FERC approved NPCC Regional Standard Processes Manual, revisions were performed for the NPCC Regional Standard PRC-006-NPCC-02 Automatic Underfrequency Load Shedding. The Standard was posted for three open process comment periods and a pre-ballot review. A ballot was then conducted which closed at 23:59PM on February 10th, 2019.

The results of the ballot were as follows:

Quorum: 80.95% of the Total Registered NPCC General and Full Members Representatives

Approval: 76%

Requisite approval was attained for the ballot therefore a recommendation for final NPCC Regional approval will be sent to the NPCC Board of Directors for consideration at their meeting on May 1st, 2019.

Contingent upon the approval of the NPCC BOD, the proposal to approve PRC-006-NPCC-02 will be submitted to the NERC Board of Trustees for their consideration and adoption at their August 14-15, 2019 meeting. NERC and NPCC will then develop filings.
