Directory 12 Underfrequency Load Shedding Program Requirements Retired Effective October 1, 2021.

On October 19th, 2021, in accordance with Section VIII of the Amended and Restated NPCC By-Laws dated January 1st, 2012, the NPCC Full Member Committee voted to approve the retirement of Regional Reliability Directory #12 Underfrequency Load Shedding Program Requirements effective October 1, 2021, to coincide with the enforcement date of PRC-006-NPCC-02 Automatic Underfrequency Load Shedding in all regional jurisdictions.

The criteria in Directory#12, which for many years has established the requirements for the NPCC Regional Underfrequency program, is being retired to ensure that the NPCC regional criteria remains consistent with the ERO standards in accordance with the NERC Rules of Procedure.

Accordingly, Directory #12 will be marked as retired and archived on the NPCC website.
