NPCC Regional Reliability Directory #7 Remedial Action Schemes ---- Revisions Approved:

• In accordance with the NPCC Directory Development and Revision Manual and the ERO Rules of Procedure the NPCC Task Forces conducted a comprehensive review of Directory#7 to ensure that the more stringent criteria contained in this document promotes reliability in a cost effective manner and facilitates compliance with the applicable ERO Standards.

• The definition of the existing NPCC Glossary term Special Protection System will be replaced by ‘See NERC RAS’ to reflect the adoption of the NERC Glossary term for Remedial Action Scheme (RAS). Additionally, a new NPCC Glossary Term and definition for RAS Group has been established.
