IPSAC Meeting Notice 2018-05-18

ISO New England has posted a draft of the 2017 Northeastern Coordinated System Plan (NCSP17) for review by the Interregional Planning Stakeholder Advisory Committee (IPSAC). The draft NCSP17 documents planning activities during 2016 and 2017 under the provisions of the Amended and Restated Northeastern ISO/RTO Planning Coordination Protocol and other documents FERC accepted in response to the interregional requirements of its Order No. 1000. NCSP17 builds on the interregional planning activities summarized in the 2015 Northeastern Coordinated System Plan (NCSP15) that emphasize interregional planning processes and activities. The report summarizes system needs and includes solutions and processes required to ensure the reliable and economic performance of the interregional power system. To date, none of the ISO/RTOs identified any needs better met interregionally than by the individual ISO/RTOs.

The draft NCSP17 has been posted for review and comment by PAC members at the following link:

Kindly submit all comments on the MSWord version to PACMatters@iso-ne.com by April 12, 2018. The Joint ISO/RTO Planning Committee plans on posting and responding to all comments at the above website. Plans call for then posting the final NCSP17 second quarter.
