IPSAC Meeting Notice 2020-05-15

ISO New England has posted the final 2019 Northeastern Coordinated System Plan (NCSP19) for the Interregional Planning Stakeholder Advisory Committee (IPSAC). The NCSP19 documents planning activities during 2018 and 2019 under the provisions of the Amended and Restated Northeastern ISO/RTO Planning Coordination Protocol and other documents FERC accepted in response to the interregional requirements of its Order No. 1000. NCSP19 builds on the interregional planning activities summarized in the 2017 Northeastern Coordinated System Plan (NCSP17) that emphasize interregional planning processes and activities. The report summarizes system needs and includes solutions and processes required to ensure the reliable and economic performance of the interregional power system. To date, none of the ISO/RTOs identified any needs better met interregionally than by the individual ISO/RTOs.
