NPCC Board Elects New Sector 6 Board Director

On June 6, 2018, the Board of the Northeast Power Coordinating Council, Inc. (NPCC) unanimously elected Mr. Denis Bergeron, Senior Utility Analyst at the Maine Public Utilities Commission, as NPCC Board Director for Sector 6 (State and Provincial Regulatory and/or Governmental Authorities). Mr. Bergeron will join Mr. Leka Gjonaj of the New York State Department of Public Service, who is currently serving as NPCC Board Director, also representing Sector 6.

Mr. Bergeron brings a wealth and breadth of experience to the Sector and to NPCC, from his participation in planning for industry restructuring to his involvement in RTO and ISO-NE matters. He is also the current Chair of the New England Conference of Public Utility Commissioners.

NPCC would like to welcome Mr. Bergeron to the Board. We are appreciative of his participation, confident he will represent Sector 6 well, and look forward to his important contributions.
